                                       Finally!  My new embroidery machine!

My Christmas and birthday present is finally here!  Yay!  I'm so much happier today!  I know I've got a lot of practicing to do before I get the hang of it, but I just wanted to share!

Also, things are a little better with  "Auburn Guy's" problems.  He and the director of the program talked and decided that he would take a leave of absence for the rest of the year and give himself time to make the decision of whether this is the right program for him.  At least he's not burning his bridges and hopefully will go back in the fall.  Thanks for all your concern, thoughts and prayers.  It's hard being a mom!  Little kids, little problems....big kids, big problems!  And yes, I want to fix it...kiss the boo-boo's and put a band-aid on them...but I have to let him handle this himself.  It's life!

Later,

Debbie

  3. Hi Debbie,

Just found your blog by way of Shanda's. So glad I did! I see that you live in Decatur. We lived in Madison, AL. for 7 wonderful years. Our youngest daughter was born at Huntsville Hospital. Love the area!

I can't sew worth anything. My mom was a great seamstress, but it sure didn't rub off on me! Have a terrific Tuesday!

Sorry I haven't commented much lately I've beenhaving babies and helping my Bama Girl ith her dramas! They totaled her car but we still don't have one for her-It's all such a pain and of course she had a nice one owner car that had never been wrecked-buying her a used car is scary but with what they settled for and paying for school ourselves thats the only option. So all that to say-I feel your pain-big kids-big problems!
Are we ever going to get together??? You need to come see me at work someday and see the weaving room- the ladies who quilt and take a basket class and we'll go to lunch.
Just some thoughts this day for ducks!!!!
Come meet the big me cos I'm going to work on the smaller me!!!!!!:O)
