Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away
on and on - say that you remember
on and on - dancing in September
on and on - never was a cloudy day.
Yeah...I'm a big Earth, Wind, and Fire fan! Ewwww, I showed my age, huh? This will be my last blog for September (unless pigs fly!)
I've really been into fall this week! Doncha' love the weather?...that is if you're living near me! It's 71* here now and tonight it's suppose to be 45*! A big change from last week!
I've been doing a little decorating. Went to Hobby Lobby...big sale!
Bought just a few things...
Results.............
It's been a long time since I've done any crafting...it's usually all quilting!
This is what I did at my back door (well...the only door anyone uses!).
Close up...
The ceramic flower picks were 1/2 off...$1 ea. and I had a 40% off coupon that I printed and got all the pots for $1.50. Not bad, huh?
And the scarecrow? They had McCall's patterns for 99 cents.
It was suppose to be a witch, you know the kind...green face, black hat...cooked nose? But I really wanted a scarecrow more (I do think I need a little raffia for hair though)!
It was fun...doing a few crafts for a change!
This morning, I went to Huntsville with William to get him new scrubs...
Looks good in brown!
Cute, huh?
He'll not be too happy about the pictures...but he didn't say I couldn't post them...so I did!
Gotta go call sweetie!
Later,
Debbie
PS: I'll take the player down next time I post...that music is annoying, huh? LOL!
I love the scarecrow! Come decorate my house anytime. Can't get September out of my head I'll be singing it all day at school;o)

Love your witchy scarecrow. I like the fabrics you chose. Yur son IS handsome. My sister in law works in Huntsville at the heart failure clinic there.
ReplyDeleteI was just telling a friend this past weekend about your daughter playing the tuba for Alabama. We always try to watch for her when they show the band. Can yu believe my husband payed 25 dollars for pay per view to watch Alabama's first football game. Last weeks game was soooo much better. He is a true fan I guess, he loves his football. Blessing to you and happy fall.
Your making me miss home :( wished I was there to see the fall colors and enjoy the cool weather. Love the way the porch looks.
