A little bit of Roll Tide and Mama Pride!

'Bama Daddy and I went down to Tuscaloosa today for Honor's Day.

First we went to the Psychology Department for a luncheon and awards program, where 'Bama Girl received this:

Then, we went to the Tapping on the Mound where she was tapped (inducted) into the Mortar Board Society.  I didn't get really good pictures but, here's what I did get:

And don't forget:

We went here:

And ate here (Maggie's Diner):

And now, I'm tired!  Bye!

  1. I bet you are tired.

I just told my husband about Bama Girl and her accomplishments. Having been a student at Alabama once upon a time I figured he could appreciate it. Congratulations from the both of us!!

Rest well and have a nice weekend.

  4. Wow!!! How proud you must be! She is a beautiful girl and doing so well with her life. For a time we took David to the Psychological Clinic to see Dr. Laura Klinger (I think it was). She is a specialist in Autism and I think has a child with Autism. A graduate student named Jennifer worked with David and they did a splendid job for him. Thank goodness for that Psychology Department! My UA policeman son tells me that there is a place in Northport called "Bama Bar B Q" (if I remember correctly) that has better BBQ than Dreamland....but I find that hard to believe. Have you tried it? Hope you are enjoying this beautiful Bama weather. "A" day is Saturday!
