we need to have a talk It was fun for a while, but...IT'S MARCH! I live in Alabama...you know...the South? So...what's up with the snow? Enough already! I can't stand it anymore! If I wanted to live like an Eskimo, I'd move to Alaska!
We're suppose to be seeing daffodils blooming. Green grass peeking out. Tuning up the lawn mower. Planting gardens and flowers! Not waking up to this:
or this:
or this:
Seriously? Are you kidding me? Snow? Again?
So...Mother Nature..."Stop the insanity!" It's not funny anymore!
Later,
Debbie
Oh my gosh, really? Again? You are right - this is Alabama. We are usually the ones being jealous of the beautiful snow in northern states - we aren't supposed to have snowy winters. Keep warm and stay inside! We aren't equipped for this kind of winter weather.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, though! I am sorry. I know you did not want to hear that. I only like it if I have nowhere to go! Hope it gets better for you. I am in Georgia and it is not much better here! We will just be miserable together! Try to stay warm and have a good day.
ReplyDeleteHang on Debbie, warm weather is on it's way! I have had so much fun messing with you southerners
ReplyDeleteSigned, Mother Nature
Warm Temps are in our forecast for the weekend. Hope they don't change it!
Wow, Debbie! You guys did get a whollop from Mother Nature today. We only got dreary rain and cold wind. But that was bad enough. My daffodils are blooming but they are not looking too happy about it. Soon the Bradford pear trees will be bloomed and I hope all this cold weather is over by the weekend so the trees can do their thing! Hang on; we'll get to warm weather, I just know we will.

I bet you ARE tired of it. You guys have been pummled!! We have gotten tons of rain in California but that I love. Hasn't stopped the trees blooming, etc. In fact, all the better. Here's hoping to some green showing up soon. Go buy yourself some flowers for inside! :)
ReplyDeleteIt stopped being funny after the first snow dump. Thanks for echoing my sentiments, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI feel for you...I am waiting for that first robin too! :D
ReplyDeleteGood post, Debbie. I'm with you. ENough with the Snow.
ReplyDeleteHey Debbie, My excuse for being MIA is I've been in hibernation! I need some warmer weather so I can thaw out and wake up!
ReplyDeleteTake Care :)
Mother Nature has been good to us the last couple of days. Spring is almost here and I cant wait to get outside.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
This has been a crazy winter for the south : ) I'm hoping its gone!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! And here I wanted to come live down by you! Can't get away from snow this winter. Well I hope it has melted by now - I'm late to comment!
