This will look better soon with a few thing on the wall.

Yay!   I have room for my quilting machine.

I'm so, so happy that I have "my very own sewing room".  I haven't gotten everything put up yet, but I haven't gotten everything in the house where it goes either!  But since I plan to never, ever move again I think I have time!

Last week when I was in Decatur, Bonnie and I went to Hobby Lobby.  While there, we looked at fall wreaths.  $50!  For real?  So...I bought a few things, went to the woods behind the new house, got kudzu vines (about the only thing it's good for!) and made a wreath...it didn't cost $50!

But with all the rain, maybe I should have been buying umbrellas instead!  Are any of you waterlogged?  I'm so sick of it!  It's rained everyday for 2 weeks.  It rains....it's humid...it rains....it's muggy!  I'm getting soggy!  I'd really appreciate a nice cool, fall day!

Gotta go paint some baseboards...

Later,

Debbie

You are SO lucky to have a room to sew. I wish I had a craft space!

  2. Your wreath is so pretty! Send some rain our way. It's supposed to be 100 degrees today...I want a cool fall day too!

  3. I'm in love with your sewing room! I wish I had it in me to organize as well as many of my crafting counterparts, but alas, my room is comfortably crowded. I'm also loving the fall wreath and the reflection of your porch off the window behind it. What a great contrast! Have a great week!
