Hubby was not home Valentine's Day. But when he came home this weekend, I got my present! Now, all of you that got flowers that have died and candy that made you fat...don't be jealous! 'Cause my romantic man got me a Wii!
And I love it! I'm a golfing demon, I could beat the William's girls at tennis, and bowling...ha! I also got the Wii Fit...now that kicks my butt! Seriously! And I also bought the Jillian Micheals game (?)...she's one of the trainers from Biggest Loser. I'm scared! I haven't even opened the package yet! But I will tomorrow...if I can move! I've played it all day, and it's the most exercise I've had in a long time...okay, you can all laugh now! But really, most of the time all I do is quilt or some other crafty type thing. I do go walk the trail near my house, but that gets boring and I can't always get out because of the weather. So...laugh all you want! I'm happy!
Now that you've all picked yourselves up off the floor, I just wanted to say thanks for listening to me rant and rave...I had a few bad weeks...I was grouchy, everything I picked up...I dropped. (I dropped 3 glasses in 2 days and they shattered everywhere!...I'm still picking up glass!) It was just one of those days...errr...weeks! But, I'm good and things are looking up! ('Bama Girl is talking to me again, too...that helps!)
As you can see, Chance is wondering what on earth I'm doing on the computer when it's time for bed, so.....
Later,
Debbie
You go girl! I'd be scared of the Jilian one too, haha. Whenever I want to quit on my eliptical I hear her voice screaming at me to keep going! As for Bama girl not talking to ya, been there too! As soon as she thinks you've moved on (get busy with your new toy/blogging/anything) she'll come around.

I'm glad you're feeling better! I was having a hard time, too. Was the moon in a weird position or something? Mainly I keep worrying about moving...I want out of Dodge er Riverside. Anyway I'm glad you're back!

Wow! That's impressive! You got something that is lots of fun and good for you, too. Hubby did good. My grandson has a Wii and I love to play on it with him. I may need one of my own for all those "training" games you mentioned. Glad all is well at your place! Life is a series of ups and downs; never stops! Enjoy your Wii. Sharon
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gift! I've heard those games are addictive... I wish I could be addicted to some physical activity rather than the internet... *sigh*... You'll be in great shape in no time!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. We're twins. You're Wii Mii looks exactly like my Wii Mii. Maybe we were separated at birth??
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting back to a happy place, Debbie. Bet you're having fun with your Valentine gift.
ReplyDeleteYou won't hear any laughing from me about Wii Fit. I need it too! Maybe I can ask for one for my birthday!
ReplyDeleteGlad things are better. That really makes me happy.
Our kids got hubbie and me a Wii for Christmas. They thought it would be good exercise for me. We just love it. Everyone should try it.
ReplyDeleteGlad things are looking up and all better now.
ReplyDeleteYour hubby was sweet to get you a Wii. I bet you all have a ball playing that thing. D and I use to love to play the old Nintendo's. We loved the Mario game. The rest of the world was playing Mario 4 and we hadn't saved the princess yet on Marion one. There was always a lot of yelling and excitment and it was so fun.
Have fun,
Shanda
