Has it really been 10 days since I've posted? Whoa! Sorry. But I've got excuses!
Hubby was home for a few days before he left for a job in Georgia. You all know how much gets done when the man is home!
'Bama Girl came home for a long weekend. She got her braces off...Oh Happy Day!
See the pretty smile!
In case you're wondering, I haven't blogged about Auburn Guy because I haven't seen him since we moved him down there. I really miss him. He won't be able to come home until Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I'll be able to go down there soon.
Back to the excuses. My sewing machine broke. What does that have to do with blogging? Well, it took forever to get another, so now I have a backlog of projects I've been working on. I've really gotten into applique as well as quilting. Here's a few projects I've worked on lately:
Go Bama!
I also had to sew a Little Mermaid costume! Really! For band! For Halloween! Seems they all dress up for practice...who knew! So, she and a couple of friends are dressing up as Disney princesses (I'll try to get pictures, later...that should be fun!) With the red hair and the costume, she does look a lot like Ariel.
And these:
Halloween wall hanging.
Quilted, but no binding.
Fall wall hanging.
Not yet quilted.
So, I haven't forgotten all of you, I've just been using my time elsewhere. But, I'll try to do better...really!
Later,
Debbie
